Heavy Metal Assessment in Taps Drinking Water of Ramadi City Using Water Quality Indices, Anbar Province, Iraq

This study goals to assess the concentrations of specified Heavy Metals (HMs) and quality taps drinking water Ramadi city, western Iraq. Metal Pollution Indices like heavy metal pollution index (HMPI ), evaluation (HMEI) contamination degree (CD) were applied supplied water. The average Lead (Pb), Nickel (Ni), Chromium (Cr), Arsenic (As) Cadmium (Cd) in most stations exceed maximum admissible concentration, while Iron (Fe) was within concentration according local global guidelines. ) values critical value 100. 10 recommended for 1 origins assessed using principal component analysis (PCA) clustering (CA). results indicate that comes from anthropogenic causes being common lithogenic sources least common. present is causing health environmental problems, with high would need be treated before consumers.
